WHERE YOU’LL GO
Join us for a beautiful kayak trip along Door County’s pristine Lake Michigan coastline. Guests will explore the shoreline of Cave Point County Park, and Whitefish Dunes State Park. With the unique vantage point of your kayak, you’ll be able to experience the beauty of the caves and observe the beautiful karst landscape on crystal clear Lake Michigan. We venture into a couple of the accessible caves, and spend a few minutes to relaxing, enjoy the natural beauty and soaking up the sun before finally kayaking back to the launch point at Schauer Park.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The water is generally calmest in the morning so it is best to book earlier in the day. The seating area does tend to get a little wet so dress accordingly, jeans are not recommended. On calm days due to incredible clarity there is ample opportunity to view the submerged caves all along the coast. The conditions are always subject to change.
WHAT TO BRING
You will want to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and above all some positive energy. GoPros, cameras and cell phones, with a proper case and lanyard, are a welcomed and accessible way to capture your experience. Pets are permitted on very calm days be sure to notify us beforehand if you are bringing your pet.
With the closest location to the caves we offer more time on the water and less time getting there. If you have any other additional questions you can either call (920) 918-4314 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
